Colors

In class we learned the colors are effective with the design principles.Like balance colors can create balance in certain design. Contrast is really great in color like for example when white contrast black paper. Emphasis is when you use a bold color to grab someone's attention. Like for example red is used a lot in logos, or like in Mcdonalds logo is red and yellow and those bright colors can grab attention to people, to go eat there. Colors is all around us there is also psychology of colors. Where certain colors can make us feel a emotion or we feel that are associated with emotions. My major is psychology so I can connect it because colors like yellow are associated with happiness, black with sadness, while colors like white can be seen as holy or hopeful.
